The John Owan Enoh Foundation has officially announced the commencement of Phase Three of its Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) Support Programme, with applications scheduled to open on 1st May 2026.
The Foundation disclosed that the initiative, aimed at empowering entrepreneurs, small business owners, and start-ups, will run through 31st July 2026, as part of its broader economic empowerment and enterprise development agenda.
According to the programme schedule released by the Foundation, the application window will run from 1st May to 14th May 2026, giving interested participants two weeks to submit their entries for consideration.
This will be followed by a screening and selection exercise from 14th May to 31st May 2026, during which qualified applicants will be assessed based on eligibility criteria and the viability of their business proposals.
The official list of successful beneficiaries is expected to be released on 1st June 2026, after the conclusion of the selection process.
Successful participants will thereafter undergo an intensive Entrepreneurship Development Centre (EDC) training programme from 8th June to 12th June 2026. The training is designed to equip beneficiaries with essential business management, financial planning, and growth strategies needed to sustain and expand their enterprises.
The Foundation further stated that disbursement of funds and business set-up support will commence on 12th June 2026, immediately following the completion of the training programme.
The announcement comes after the successful completion of Phases One and Two, which the Foundation says recorded positive outcomes in supporting small businesses and boosting local economic activities.
In addition, the Foundation revealed that Phase Four of the MSME Support Programme is already scheduled to run from 1st September to 30th November 2026, underscoring its continued commitment to enterprise growth and job creation.
Stakeholders have described the initiative as a timely intervention, particularly in the face of current economic challenges, noting that sustained support for MSMEs remains critical to Nigeria’s economic resilience and youth empowerment.
