Abuja, Nigeria – Friday, March 26, 2026
The Nationwide Tinubu Connect Associates (NTCA) has formally declared its unwavering support for the re-election of President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, in the 2027 presidential election, pledging to mobilise 10 million votes nationwide in what it described as a “historic and resounding victory.”
The declaration was made during a grand endorsement press conference held in Abuja on Friday, March 26, 2026, where the group’s Director-General, Alhaji (Dr.) Bello Maigari, OON, reaffirmed the association’s commitment to the President’s Renewed Hope Agenda and continued leadership.
Addressing journalists, stakeholders, and supporters, Maigari said the endorsement followed months of nationwide consultations, grassroots engagements, and strategic stakeholder meetings across the country.
According to him, President Tinubu remains the most experienced, visionary, and courageous leader capable of sustaining Nigeria’s progress and securing a prosperous future.
“Today, we gather not only to review the extraordinary achievements of President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, both as former Governor of Lagos State and as the current President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, but also to formally declare NTCA’s grand endorsement and unshakable support for his re-election in 2027,” he said.
Tinubu’s Legacy in Lagos
The group highlighted what it described as Tinubu’s remarkable track record as Governor of Lagos State between 1999 and 2007, noting that his administration laid the foundation for Lagos to become Africa’s leading economic hub.
NTCA stated that under Tinubu’s leadership, Lagos State’s Internally Generated Revenue (IGR) rose from about ₦600 million to over ₦8 billion monthly, a feat it said transformed the state’s financial independence.
It also credited him with major infrastructure and urban renewal projects, including the development of the Lekki Corridor, road expansion projects, and the conceptualisation of the Lagos Metro Rail and Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) system.
The association further praised his reforms in security, healthcare, education, and public service administration, particularly the establishment of the Lagos State Security Trust Fund (LSSTF).
Achievements as President
Reviewing Tinubu’s performance since assuming office in 2023, NTCA said the President inherited a difficult economic climate but had since embarked on bold reforms aimed at economic recovery and national development.
Among the major achievements listed were economic stabilisation measures, strengthened fiscal reforms, improved investor confidence, and enhanced revenue systems to reduce borrowing and curb leakages.
The group also cited the growth of Nigeria’s foreign exchange reserves to 49 billion US dollars, describing it as a strong signal of renewed confidence in the economy and support for the naira.
On infrastructure, NTCA described the administration’s projects as the most ambitious since independence, referencing the Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway, ongoing federal road construction projects across the six geopolitical zones, rail expansion, airport modernisation, and the revitalisation of Apapa and Tin Can Island ports.
It also commended the administration’s efforts in power sector reforms, security advancements, youth empowerment, social investment programmes, and governance reforms.
Formal Endorsement for 2027
The association said its endorsement was based on what it termed facts, visible achievements, leadership capacity, and a clear national vision.
According to NTCA, Tinubu’s experience in governance, political courage, and commitment to reforms distinguish him from any potential challenger ahead of the 2027 elections.
The group urged Nigerians across all demographics — including youths, women, professionals, traditional institutions, and community leaders — to rally behind the President.
NTCA Sets 10 Million Vote Target
In a major political declaration, NTCA announced that it has built a nationwide support structure spanning all 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory, with a membership base of 2.5 million Nigerians.
The organisation said its network comprises youths, women, professionals, community influencers, and grassroots mobilisers, making it one of the largest independent political mobilisation groups in the country.
As part of its campaign objective, NTCA unveiled a target of delivering 10 million votes for President Tinubu in the 2027 election.
It said strategies already being deployed include:
Community-based mobilisation
Ward-to-ward engagement
Digital campaign amplification
Youth and women-focused outreach
Door-to-door voter persuasion
Election-day turnout activation
Alliance with Presidential Campaign Council
The association also announced plans to work closely with the Presidential Campaign Council (PCC) and other pro-Tinubu support groups nationwide.
It said the collaboration would focus on state-level mobilisation, election logistics, strategic communication, and voter turnout operations.
NTCA assured supporters that it would remain active before, during, and after the elections to ensure what it described as maximum grassroots penetration and guaranteed vote delivery.
“No Vacancy in Aso Rock”
In his closing remarks, the Director-General reiterated the association’s confidence in President Tinubu’s leadership.
“We believe in his mission. We trust his visionary leadership. We recognise his capacity to secure a safer, stronger, and more prosperous Nigeria. Hence, there is no vacancy in Aso Rock,” Maigari declared.
He added that NTCA remains fully committed to ensuring a historic and overwhelming victory for President Tinubu in 2027.
