Nigeria Needs Our Collective SupportThe National Secretary of the All Progressives Congress Dr Ajibola Basiru has rejoiced with Muslims on the completion of this year’s Ramadhan fast and celebration of Eidul fitri.Dr Basiru reminded Muslims that it’s the 30 days of fasting that has ended but Islam does not start or end with Ramadhan.”We are full of gratitude to the Almighty Allaah for the grace and opportunity to witness another Ramadhan and Eidul fitri. We all must be reminded Ramadhan is just a pillar of Islaam.Ramadhan has left but our daily worship remains with us. “”It’s not 30 days of fasting alone that make us Muslims. A practising Muslim remembers Allaah all the time and exhibits virtues in all his doings all the time. We have given Zakaatul fitri,an annual thing, but daily sodaqoh,alms giving remains with us.
